Experience
Alexa Doria was born and raised in Troy, Michigan. She went to the University of Michigan where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Movement Science from the School of Kinesiology with a minor in Dance from the School of Music, Theatre & Dance in 2021. While at the University of Michigan, she was the Public Relations Chair for the Dance Marathon, a non-profit organization raising money for pediatric therapies at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and earned a University Honors distinction twice.
She then attended West Virginia University College of Law, graduating in May 2024. During law school, she served as the Secretary of the Class of 2024 class council. She was also the Secretary of both the Moot Court Team and the Marlyn E. Lugar Trial Association. During her tenure with both organizations, she won the 1L trial competition and the Lugar Cup her 3L year for the Marlyn E. Lugar Trial Association. For Moot Court, she competed in the Civil Rights and Liberties Moot Court Competition at Emory University School of Law where she and her partner were Octo finalists. Finally, she is a member of the Order of the Barristers.
